How the Color Converter & Shades Generator Works
Managing colors across different platforms often requires translating values. The Color Converter takes any standard HEX code (like those used in CSS and HTML) and mathematically translates it into precise RGB (Red, Green, Blue) and HSL (Hue, Saturation, Lightness) formats.
Why do we need RGB and HSL?
While HEX is great for quick copy-pasting, HSL is incredibly powerful for programmatic design. By isolating the "Lightness" channel in HSL, we can dynamically generate matching shades and tints without muddying the actual color tone. This is how modern frameworks like Tailwind CSS generate their famous 100-900 color scales.
